We are at a restaurant in town called Perkeo. Perkeo was the nickname of a wildly-popular Southern Tyrolean dwarf who acted as court jester and wine barrel guardian for Elector Karl Philipp (1716-1742). He was said to drink 18 bottles of wine a day, and it is said that he died when he accidentally drank a glass of water instead of wine.
He got his nickname because his reply, when asked if he wanted more wine, was always, "Perque no?" (Why not?)
